Description

  • Lead the evolution of the software delivery lifecycle across engineering, product management, architecture, design, QA, and support functions.
  • Own the strategy for engineering productivity, AI enablement, and SDLC modernization across business units.
  • Introduce and scale AI-assisted development patterns for coding, testing, estimation, architecture, and workflow optimization.
  • Maintain and continuously improve playbooks, templates, and delivery excellence practices.
  • Run productivity-focused R&D, experiments, pilots, and proof-of-value initiatives.
  • Own the evaluation, rollout, and adoption of AI-augmented development tools such as Copilot, Cursor, JetBrains AI, and Claude Code.
  • Build ROI and usage feedback loops to measure tool effectiveness and developer efficiency.
  • Collaborate with IT, Security, Compliance, architects, engineering managers, product managers, QA leads, designers, and BU leadership.
  • Support business-unit AI productivity champions and coordinate cross-org rollout frameworks, onboarding, dashboards, and reporting.
  • Define AI usage standards, prompting guidelines, testing guardrails, and safe workflow practices while tracking productivity KPIs and reporting impact to leadership.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in engineering management, DevEx, delivery excellence, or SDLC leadership roles.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end SDLC, including product, architecture, QA, design, and support.
  • Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, and test-generation tools.
  • Solid understanding of AI fundamentals, including LLMs, RAG, agentic workflows, and transformers.
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing teams in a matrix organization.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and coaching skills.
  • Experience running structured rollouts, experiments, pilots, and transformation initiatives.
  • KPI-driven, analytical mindset with the ability to measure impact.
  • Knowledge of AI-related security, compliance, and safe tooling usage standards.
  • Master’s degree in a related field is a plus.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus.
  • Experience with microservices, Docker, and Kubernetes is a plus.
  • Experience in large-scale system design and distributed systems is a plus.
  • Experience leading architecture review boards or similar governance bodies is a plus.
