Description

  • Participate in early equipment concept development and balance specifications, process needs, layout, cost, and lead-time constraints.
  • Design compliant industrial electrical control panels and create electrical, pneumatic, and fluid schematics.
  • Write, debug, and maintain PLC code for manufacturing applications.
  • Develop robot systems for automated manufacturing of vehicle sub-components.
  • Implement control-reliable safety systems for robots, gantries, conveyors, and other equipment.
  • Design simple HMI screens that provide clear machine feedback and troubleshooting support.
  • Manage electrical cabinet builds, field wiring, and pneumatic/fluid plumbing.
  • Select and size electrical and electromechanical components such as servo motors and controllers.
  • Deploy automated processes and equipment into production.
  • Set and maintain schedules and budgets to ensure project completion.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience designing and কমিশmissioning automation and controls systems for industrial applications.
  • Master's degree in an engineering discipline (preferred).
  • Experience with process integration and electromechanical/mechatronic systems (preferred).
  • Experience with robotic weld applications such as Kuka, ABB, and Fanuc (preferred).
  • Robot and PLC simulation experience (preferred).
  • Experience with National Instruments software and hardware (preferred).
  • Electrical schematic CAD experience using EPlan (preferred).
  • Experience with C#, .NET, Python, and/or SQL (preferred).
  • PLC programming experience, preferably Siemens TIA Portal and Beckhoff TwinCat 3 (preferred).
  • HMI and SCADA programming experience (preferred).
  • Knowledge of field bus networks, serial communication, and Ethernet communication (preferred).
  • Hands-on experience building and commissioning high-quality electrical control panels and electro-mechanical systems (preferred).
  • Knowledge of NEC, NFPA 79, and UL508A codes (preferred).
  • Experience in fast-paced iterative design and manufacturing environments (preferred).
  • Ability to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed.
  • Ability to meet physical job requirements, including standing, lifting, climbing, kneeling, working at heights up to 500 ft, and working in confined spaces.
  • Must be eligible under ITAR export requirements as a U.S. citizen/national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, asylee, or otherwise authorized by the U.S. Department of State.
