Description

  • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks by analyzing system metrics, database queries, and cloud resource usage before they affect users.
  • Build and maintain the internal developer platform, including self-service tooling and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Operate and secure production Kubernetes clusters managed as code.
  • Partner with application teams to optimize slow SQL queries and manage database schema changes safely.
  • Investigate infrastructure requests to determine the underlying need and propose better long-term solutions.
  • Help build infrastructure that enables product teams to ship code securely and rapidly.
  • Implement automated, systemic fixes for underlying issues behind alerts and incidents.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a STEM discipline.
  • 1+ years of professional experience with networking or infrastructure projects.
  • 1+ years of professional programming experience in Python, Go, or a similar language.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Experience with Kubernetes in multi-region or large-scale environments (preferred).
  • Experience with CI/CD and DevOps pipelines or related tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, ArgoCD, Argo Workflows, or Helm (preferred).
  • Experience with observability tooling such as Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, ClickHouse, or OpenTelemetry (preferred).
  • Familiarity with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, including indexing and query performance, especially in distributed or multi-region deployments (preferred).
  • Contributions to open-source projects or development of open-source tools (preferred).
  • Must be willing to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
  • Must meet U.S. export control/ITAR eligibility requirements.

Benefits

  • Base salary of $135,000–$155,000 for Level I or $155,000–$185,000 for Level II.
