Description

  • Own equipment improvement plans for maintenance strategies and equipment availability to maximize production uptime.
  • Define, develop, and refine equipment reliability programs, including preventive maintenance, spare parts planning, IoT integration, sensor installation, and iterative design improvements.
  • Develop engineering solutions for repetitive or high-consequence equipment failures through root cause analysis.
  • Conduct Failure Mode, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) to build proactive reliability programs for critical equipment.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally to drive process improvements, design iterations, and complete equipment overhauls.
  • Work with internal tooling, automation, and production teams to ensure maintainability is incorporated into new internally designed equipment.
  • Develop and implement maintenance and reliability KPIs to improve equipment performance and organizational efficiency.
  • Support onboarding and commissioning of newly purchased or fabricated equipment and release reliability programs before equipment enters production.
  • Provide technical support to production, maintenance management, and other technical personnel.
  • Manage production requests related to asset improvements and data collection.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
  • 1+ years of experience in manufacturing, reliability, or operations.
  • 5+ years of experience in a maintenance engineering or reliability role in a high-volume manufacturing, testing, or operational environment (preferred).
  • Hands-on experience with equipment control systems, machinery, tooling, and industrial automation.
  • Developed understanding of mechanical, fluid, and electrical component functions.
  • Experience using Microsoft SQL and PowerBI (preferred).
  • Ability to read and understand equipment schematics, P&ID, GD&T, and OEM manuals.
  • Familiarity with aerospace manufacturing and test equipment such as CNC, SMT, 3D printing, robotics, tooling, furnaces, and chillers (preferred).
  • Experience working with CMMS programs such as Maximo, SAP, or Infor (preferred).
  • Basic understanding of maintenance and reliability KPIs such as OEE, MTBF, and MTTR.
  • Critical thinking, problem-solving, detail orientation, organization, and a strong sense of urgency.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen, national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, asylee, or otherwise eligible for required U.S. Department of State authorizations under ITAR.

  • Base salary range of $100,000-$115,000 for Level I and $110,000-$135,000 for Level II.
