Description

  • Independently manage COMSEC accounts, key issuance, and key destruction procedures.
  • Perform and oversee self-inspections, inventories, and compliance activities to company standards.
  • Operate, troubleshoot, and configure End Crypto Units, including the KG-175 suite, KGR-42, and KG-250 suite.
  • Prepare COMSEC deliverables such as security plans and key management plans with limited oversight.
  • Interface with customer counterparts at the security execution level and present to leadership.
  • Determine work priorities independently while supporting security execution needs.
  • Identify and implement security solutions that protect national security without slowing innovation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, or 3+ years of professional experience in COMSEC or a security field in lieu of a degree.
  • 1+ years of experience in COMSEC or a security field.
  • 2+ years of experience with CNSSI 4005 and 4001, NCSM Vol. 2, NSA/CSS Manual 3-16, and related COMSEC policies and procedures preferred.
  • 1+ year of experience with systems such as iApp, KMI, CARDS, CORE, and DIAS preferred.
  • Experience preparing security deliverables and identifying creative solutions that protect national security preferred.
  • Strong ability to work across departments and interface effectively with customer counterparts preferred.
  • Experience presenting to leadership and determining work priorities independently preferred.
  • Must be willing to work in a classified environment.
  • Must be willing to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
  • Must successfully obtain and maintain a Top Secret Security Clearance.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee, or otherwise eligible for required U.S. Department of State authorizations under ITAR.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $85,000 to $115,000 for Level 1 and $105,000 to $135,000 for Level 2.
  • Potential 10% differential, up to an additional $20,000 annually, for employees with an active clearance once officially briefed into a classified program.

  • Potential discretionary bonuses and the option to purchase additional stock at a discount through an Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
