Description

  • Perform in-depth analyses of consumer metrics (e.g., LTV, CAC, churn, cohort performance) to uncover trends and opportunities.
  • Develop forecasting models for subscriber growth, revenue projections, and market penetration that incorporate external factors like competition and economic indicators.
  • Create and maintain reporting dashboards and visualizations (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc.) to track KPIs for acquisition, retention, and engagement.
  • Conduct market research and price elasticity/competitive pricing analysis to recommend pricing and promotional optimizations.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, and sales teams to integrate insights into growth strategies and support A/B testing and scenario planning.
  • Identify data gaps and partner with engineering teams to improve data collection and ensure robust datasets for consumer analyses.
  • Deliver presentations and reports to stakeholders, translating technical findings into clear, business-oriented recommendations.
  • Support ad-hoc research projects such as regional market assessments and analyses of emerging broadband adoption trends.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (general) required; degree in business, economics, statistics, computer science, or related quantitative field preferred.
  • 2+ years professional experience in business analytics, consulting, market research, or growth operations.
  • 1+ years experience with SQL and creating/managing dashboards using data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker); advanced SQL (complex joins, window functions, query optimization) preferred.
  • Experience with forecasting, financial metrics (LTV, CAC), and pricing analysis preferred.
  • Proficiency in statistical modeling and forecasting techniques (e.g., time-series analysis, regression) in Python or R preferred.
  • Experience with ETL processes, data pipelines, or automation scripting (e.g., Python, VBA) preferred.
  • Background in high-growth consumer tech, startups, or consulting focused on customer acquisition and retention is a plus.
  • Strong research skills and familiarity with market intelligence tools, plus excellent communication skills for presenting to non-technical audiences.
  • Project management experience and ability to prioritize tasks in fast-paced settings.
  • Position may involve extended hours/weekend work, travel between SpaceX sites, and ITAR eligibility (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, asylee, or eligible for required authorizations).

Benefits

  • Pay range: Business Analyst I $80,000–$100,000; Business Analyst II $90,000–$115,000 per year (level and salary determined case-by-case).
