Description

  • Consolidate stale, fragmented trading data from multiple sources into a centralized, queryable database.
  • Design and implement data pipelines and orchestration workflows to automate ingestion and processing.
  • Define the data model in collaboration with internal team members and the client.
  • Build a robust data pipeline from the ground up with a focus on aggregation, modeling, processing, and reliability.
  • Enable accurate and fast tracking of position changes across daily, weekly, and monthly intervals.
  • Propose and implement a database strategy using a lower-level database as the primary aggregation layer and Snowflake for reporting.
  • Ensure data auditability and observability with clear traceability for how each data point is created.
  • Extract domain knowledge from client stakeholders and translate it into technical design.
  • Identify additional data opportunities as the project matures and surface ways to add value to the dataset.

Requirements

  • Strong senior-level proficiency in Python and SQL, with PostgreSQL preferred.
  • Strong senior-level proficiency in MongoDB and Snowflake.
  • High-level experience processing Excel files and CSVs.
  • Proven experience with data aggregation, modeling, pipeline development, and data reliability.
  • Experience with data orchestration frameworks such as Apache Airflow or similar.
  • Comfort working with data warehouses and large, complex datasets.
  • Must be based in Brazil.
  • Availability to accommodate overlap with California/Pacific Time working hours.
  • Experience with AWS Redshift is preferred.
  • Familiarity with data observability and auditability tooling is preferred.
  • Background in a consultancy or client-facing delivery environment is preferred.
  • Experience in finance data and high-stakes financial datasets is expected.
