Description

  • Build, own, and operate production-ready LLM-powered services end to end.
  • Design and implement fast, reliable AI systems that support core platform features.
  • Develop data-grounded recommendation and workflow capabilities with production-grade performance.
  • Collaborate across multiple projects and teammates on a shared technology stack.
  • Implement and maintain LLM and RAG components such as retrieval, chunking, reranking, and guardrails.
  • Build robust data ingestion and pipeline jobs, including backfills and scheduled processing.
  • Set up observability, telemetry, and evaluation workflows for quality and performance monitoring.
  • Work with backend, mobile, and operations teams to roll out, monitor, and iterate on services.
  • Make independent technical decisions with attention to code quality, security, and reliability.

Requirements

  • 4-6+ years of software engineering experience in product environments.
  • Hands-on experience shipping LLM/GenAI solutions to production is strongly preferred.
  • Strong Python experience with FastAPI, including async patterns, dependency injection, and testing.
  • Experience integrating with TypeScript/Node services and building REST/GraphQL APIs.
  • Experience with at least one streaming pattern such as SSE or WebSocket.
  • Familiarity with embedding stores, hybrid search, re-ranking, prompt tooling, and guardrails.
  • Experience with observability and evaluation tools such as structured logging, tracing, metrics, and Langfuse-style telemetry.
  • Experience with robust data ingestion, schema validation, PII handling, backfills, and scheduled jobs.
  • Familiarity with agent frameworks, MCP, tool design, constrained execution, and safe planning.
  • Comfort working in the CET timezone.
  • Nice-to-have experience with vLLM, TensorRT-LLM, quantization, or LoRA.
  • Nice-to-have experience with retrieval evaluation frameworks, cross-encoder rerankers, and response grading.
  • Nice-to-have experience with cost controls, token budgeting, and prompt compression.
  • Nice-to-have experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, model gateways, caching, S3-compatible storage, and Kafka or similar.
  • Nice-to-have knowledge of tenant-aware access controls, secrets management, audit logs, and privacy or safety red-teaming basics.
