Description

  • Collaborate with AI, MLOps, subject matter experts, product managers, and engineers to design and build AI-powered services and pipelines.
  • Develop, train, and test AI models that deliver scientifically accurate and domain-relevant capabilities for enterprise SaaS products.
  • Build robust cloud-based pipelines for ingesting and processing structured and unstructured life sciences data from diverse sources.
  • Create transparent and explainable AI systems that help users understand how conclusions are reached.
  • Develop domain-specific AI solutions that handle complex medical and scientific language with precision.
  • Lead agile cross-functional teams to execute with clarity, manage uncertainty, and drive value creation.
  • Understand products from both the customer perspective and the engineering perspective.
  • Advocate for AI best practices internally and in how product teams integrate with AI services.
  • Contribute to decision-making and influence the design of AI services.
  • Help improve processing efficiency, scalability, production stability, and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of enterprise SaaS software development experience.
  • 3+ years of Python experience.
  • 3+ years of cloud computing experience, with GCP preferred.
  • Experience with Large Language Models.
  • Experience with common data science tooling and packages.
  • Experience working in enterprise SaaS environments.
  • Experience deploying and maintaining LLM-based systems and frameworks such as LangChain or LlamaIndex is a bonus.
  • Familiarity with Python, Jupyter Notebooks, pytest, Poetry, PostgreSQL, BigQuery, Vertex AI, Google Cloud Storage, PyTorch, and Google Model Garden.
  • A positive and collaborative attitude.
  • Initiative, self-motivation, and a willingness to continuously learn new tools, processes, or methodologies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a remote, globally distributed team.
  • Authorization to work without employer visa sponsorship, as the company cannot sponsor or transfer visas at this time.

  • Base salary in the range of $150,000-$180,000 depending on experience.
