Description

  • Own the strategy, roadmap, and execution for new brokerage experiences and trading capabilities within SoFi Invest.
  • Lead complex product initiatives spanning trading functionality, account-level experiences, and regulatory workflows.
  • Partner closely with engineering, design, risk, and compliance to deliver end-to-end investing experiences.
  • Provide product leadership and direction across the Invest PM team to shape brokerage product planning and delivery.
  • Build net-new and materially expanded trading capabilities for customer-facing investing products.
  • Guide product decisions for capabilities that integrate with execution systems, risk engines, and account-level controls.
  • Balance durable technical foundations with near-term product delivery for scalable trading features.
  • Translate technical and regulatory complexity into clear product direction for cross-functional stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of product management experience, including ownership of technically complex, customer-facing financial products.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher, ideally in a technical, finance, engineering, or quantitative field.
  • Proven experience leading advanced brokerage or trading capabilities.
  • Experience integrating with execution systems, risk engines, and account-level controls.
  • Strong technical fluency with APIs, distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and data-intensive services.
  • Ability to reason about performance, scalability, and failure modes.
  • Experience partnering with engineering on architectural decisions and technical trade-offs in high-throughput, low-latency, and highly regulated environments.
  • Comfort working with real-time decisioning, account state, permissions, limits, and suitability controls.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with engineering, risk, compliance, legal, operations, and analytics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to simplify technical and regulatory complexity.
  • Previous experience building world-class investing and brokerage products is required.
