Description

  • Review and edit scripts for clarity, accuracy, and brand voice before recording.
  • Attend recordings and provide live feedback during shoots and tapings.
  • Conduct quality assurance on long-form and short-form video and audio content and provide specific editorial direction.
  • Write and edit copy across formats, including episode descriptions and social pull-quotes.
  • Manage day-to-day YouTube channel operations, including uploads, metadata, thumbnails, playlists, titles, descriptions, tags, and end screens.
  • Optimize YouTube packaging and content iteration to improve organic discovery, click-through rate, retention, and subscriber growth.
  • Track performance across episodes, clips, and Shorts to identify opportunities for reach and engagement improvements.
  • Own and maintain the content calendar across video, audio, written, and visual deliverables.
  • Serve as the operational hub by flagging risks, resolving blockers, and keeping stakeholders aligned on status.
  • Manage compliance submissions, including tracking requests, routing redlines, following up on approvals, and implementing required changes.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in content production, editorial, or content operations, ideally with podcast, video, or multimedia experience.
  • Strong editing skills with the ability to give specific, actionable feedback.
  • Proven project management skills and experience owning calendars and deadlines.
  • Comfort working in live production environments and communicating feedback clearly and diplomatically in real time.
  • Fluency with AI-assisted tools and interest in building AI-augmented workflows.
  • Experience managing or supporting YouTube channels, ideally for podcasts, video series, media brands, or creator-led content.
  • Ability to write audience-first copy while maintaining brand voice and compliance discipline.
  • Experience with financial content or fintech is a plus.
  • Ability to translate complex topics for a general audience is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
