Description

  • Lead complex, multi-system AI deployments from technical discovery through production deployment and handoff to the solutions organization.
  • Own customer relationships throughout the engagement lifecycle, including scope management and technical validation.
  • Architect multi-agent AI solutions aligned to each customer’s workflow characteristics and compliance requirements.
  • Design client-specific and industry-specific MCP resource packs that personalize AI behavior across connected surfaces.
  • Own the quality and documentation of Deployment Kits so non-engineering solutions consultants can use them independently.
  • Lead AI workshop programs, customize modules for each customer, and translate workshop outputs into production requirements.
  • Run Solutions Enablement Sprints and create training materials and certification criteria for consultants and partners.
  • Drive the intelligence loop by writing strategic memos, presenting weekly field findings, and contributing to platform improvements.
  • Mentor junior FDEs through customer engagements, code reviews, and Deployment Kit reviews.

Requirements

  • 6–10+ years of production software engineering experience, including 3+ years deploying AI/ML systems to production.
  • Strong Python experience and solid TypeScript/JavaScript skills.
  • Proven experience leading complex enterprise technical engagements and managing customer relationships.
  • Deep production LLM experience, including multi-agent orchestration, MCP/tool-use, RAG optimization, evaluation frameworks, and agent deployment at scale.
  • System architecture experience across enterprise systems, cloud infrastructure, and AI services.
  • Demonstrated ability to create reusable technical assets that are used in production.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for architecture documents, runbooks, strategic memos, and training materials.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally approximately 25–50% of the time.
  • Eligible to work in the UK on an ongoing basis.
  • BS or MS in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Preferred: experience founding or scaling an FDE or solutions engineering function.
  • Preferred: technical founder background or experience with Databricks, AWS Bedrock, or Temporal.
  • Preferred: deep domain knowledge in healthcare, financial services, or government.
  • Preferred: contributions to agent frameworks or open-source MCP servers such as Strands SDK or LangChain.
  • Preferred: proficiency in German or French.
  • Preferred: familiarity with AI governance, ethics, and regulatory requirements such as GDPR or the UK/EU AI Act.
