Description

  • Design, develop, test, and deliver high-quality full-stack applications using TypeScript, Node.js, Next.js, React, and C#/.NET where required.
  • Build clean, maintainable, well-tested code that meets standards for quality, accessibility, and performance.
  • Work directly on production systems while handling production data responsibly and maintaining GDPR compliance.
  • Own features from design through deployment and deliver work independently within an agile engineering team.
  • Review and challenge requirements to ensure the right solutions are built before development begins.
  • Collaborate closely with designers to translate mockups into intuitive user experiences and identify UX improvements.
  • Contribute to and maintain automated test coverage using Jest and Vitest.
  • Communicate blockers, risks, and technical challenges early to support delivery.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies including stand-ups, retrospectives, demos, and story reviews.
  • Use AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code as part of the engineering workflow.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with a strong full-stack background.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with TypeScript and Node.js.
  • 3+ years of experience with Next.js and/or React.
  • 3+ years of experience with PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or other relational databases.
  • 3+ years of experience building and deploying applications on AWS.
  • 3+ years of experience writing and maintaining automated tests using Jest and/or Vitest.
  • 2+ years of experience with C#/.NET.
  • Strong design sensibility and an eye for creating intuitive user experiences.
  • Experience using AI-assisted development tools, including Claude Code, as part of the development workflow.
  • 1+ year of experience with OpenSearch or Elasticsearch, preferred.
  • 1+ year of experience with Redis and/or Amazon S3, preferred.
  • 1+ year of experience with Kubernetes and DevOps tooling, preferred.
  • 1+ year of experience with Terraform or Infrastructure as Code (IaC), preferred.
