Description

  • Build and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React and Capacitor.
  • Lead the migration from Angular/Ionic applications to a modern React-based architecture.
  • Design and implement high-quality, user-focused interfaces.
  • Develop API integrations and backend-connected features.
  • Own the end-to-end app release process for Apple App Store and Google Play.
  • Manage provisioning, signing, and deployment workflows.
  • Ensure performance, scalability, and reliability during high-traffic periods and peak usage events.
  • Debug and resolve production issues, including edge cases such as concurrency and race conditions.
  • Contribute to secure handling of sensitive data and payment flows.
  • Make pragmatic architectural decisions and drive delivery forward.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with TypeScript and React.
  • Hands-on experience building and shipping apps with Capacitor; React Native is not an acceptable alternative.
  • Proven experience publishing mobile apps to both iOS and Android app stores.
  • Strong understanding of mobile app lifecycle, permissions, platform constraints, and app store submission/release processes.
  • Experience with REST APIs and third-party integrations.
  • Experience with authentication and secure data handling.
  • Ability to work independently for 1–2 days without guidance while prioritizing tasks and maintaining progress.
  • Experience handling real-world scale challenges such as traffic spikes, performance bottlenecks, and production reliability issues.
  • Exposure to Angular and/or Ionic for legacy system understanding is preferred.
  • Experience with Node.js for light backend work, such as API integrations or minor services, is preferred.
  • Familiarity with payment integrations such as Stripe, Firebase features such as Auth and Push Notifications, and CI/CD pipelines or monitoring tools is preferred.
