Description

  • Design and architect scalable backend solutions and distributed systems using Laravel, Eloquent, and DTO-based patterns.
  • Optimize and implement high-performance RESTful APIs and distributed workflows (Saga, step functions).
  • Build cloud-native applications and services on AWS (Lambda, DynamoDB, S3).
  • Automate infrastructure and deployment pipelines using Infrastructure-as-Code and CI/CD tools (Terraform, Octopus Deploy, Bitbucket Pipelines).
  • Implement and maintain testing and code-quality practices (unit & feature tests, SonarQube/SonarLint) to champion reliability.
  • Drive DevOps and CI/CD best practices across the engineering team and contribute to automation and deployment improvements.
  • Share knowledge, mentor peers, and help set technical standards and guidelines across the organization.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of back-end development experience with advanced expertise in PHP and Laravel, building scalable, high-performance applications.
  • 2+ years designing and optimizing applications on AWS using services such as Lambda, DynamoDB, and S3.
  • 2+ years working with Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines, automating deployments with tools such as Terraform, Octopus Deploy, and Bitbucket Pipelines.
  • Proficient with RESTful APIs and distributed workflow patterns such as Saga and step functions.
  • Strong knowledge of Eloquent ORM and use of DTOs for structuring data in distributed systems.
  • Hands-on experience with testing and code quality tools, including Unit & Feature Tests and SonarQube/SonarLint.
  • Nice to have: broader system design expertise (microservices, modular architectures) and exposure to ElasticSearch or advanced DynamoDB integrations.
  • Located in India (roles listed for Ahmedabad, Chennai, Cochin/Kochi, Delhi NCR, Kolkata) and available for full-time remote work.
