Description

  • Translate ambiguous stakeholder needs into structured solutions, user flows, and deliverables.
  • Design system architecture with decisions around scalability, maintainability, and security.
  • Build and deliver end-to-end features across frontend and backend with full ownership.
  • Rapidly prototype AI-enabled solutions and evolve them into production-ready systems.
  • Improve and scale an existing Python-based application by addressing backlog, performance, and UX gaps.
  • Define and implement UX flows and usability improvements focused on user journeys.
  • Integrate APIs, including AI-driven services, and design robust data flows.
  • Apply secure development practices and ensure systems are reliable and maintainable.
  • Contribute to engineering practices such as architecture, SDLC, and testing through hands-on work.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and team members while operating with a high degree of independence.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of strong Python experience in production environments.
  • 5+ years of experience in system design and architecture, including trade-off decisions.
  • Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Codex, Claude, or similar.
  • 3+ years of experience integrating APIs, including AI or data-driven services.
  • 3+ years of solid frontend experience with React and modern JavaScript/HTML, or equivalent frameworks.
  • 3+ years of experience owning features or products end-to-end from concept to delivery.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, engineering best practices, and code quality standards.
  • Experience working in ambiguous environments and shaping requirements independently.
  • 2+ years of proven ability to prototype quickly and deliver at pace.
  • 5+ years of strong stakeholder communication skills and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • 2+ years of understanding of UX flows and usability principles.
  • 3+ years of experience working with databases and data modelling.
  • 3+ years of understanding of secure development practices.
  • 2+ years of experience handling data pipelines or ETL processes.
  • High ownership mindset and ability to operate independently in a low-structure environment.
  • Experience working in small, high-autonomy teams without dedicated QA or BA support (preferred).
  • Exposure to building AI-powered products or LLM-based workflows in production (preferred).
  • Experience improving engineering maturity in architecture, testing, or SDLC within teams (preferred).
  • Familiarity with rapid prototyping tools and experimentation environments (preferred).
  • Strong product mindset with the ability to balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints (preferred).
