Description

  • Manage and optimize Snowflake data warehouses.
  • Improve Snowflake performance using materialization strategies, dynamic tables, and clustering optimization.
  • Build scalable ETL/ELT and ingestion pipelines using dbt, Airflow, Fivetran, AWS DMS, Kafka, and Kinesis.
  • Develop dbt modeling layers using medallion architecture principles.
  • Transform raw data into clean, reliable, business-ready models with dbt and AI-assisted documentation and testing.
  • Integrate data from CRM systems, payment platforms, gaming platforms, and other operational sources.
  • Own data quality initiatives, including anomaly detection and automated alerting.
  • Monitor and optimize platform performance, cost efficiency, and security.
  • Collaborate with product, operations, analytics, and data science stakeholders.
  • Support reporting and analytics work, mentor other engineers, and contribute to the team’s AI strategy and documentation practices.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in data engineering.
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS.
  • Deep knowledge of ELT design and data warehousing best practices.
  • Expert-level Snowflake optimization experience.
  • Advanced dbt experience, including macros, testing, and modularization.
  • Excellent SQL and Python skills.
  • Good CI/CD and Git skills.
  • Experience using AI coding assistants to work efficiently.
  • Experience building pipelines for high-volume data, preferred.
  • Familiarity with iGaming terminology and KPIs such as GGR, LTV, RTP, and acquisition metrics, preferred.
  • Experience with affiliate or game provider data feeds, preferred.
  • Exposure to real-time data ingestion, preferred.
  • Experience with data science or ML pipelines such as SageMaker or Bedrock, preferred.
  • Experience using AI tools for monitoring or query optimization, preferred.
  • QuickSight experience, especially SPICE and Direct Query, preferred.
