Description

  • Design, develop, and test ETL scripts on the Informatica platform following development standards and best practices.
  • Work with business analysts and end-users to gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Define data definitions, transformation logic, data model designs, data flow, and process requirements.
  • Lead and plan complex database design, development, implementation, administration, tuning, ETL, backup, and recovery activities for assigned projects.
  • Design and develop ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter.
  • Analyze database schemas, triggers, and stored procedures.
  • Design, develop, implement, and maintain custom Oracle applications written in PL/SQL.
  • Review developed code and validate solutions against business and system requirements.
  • Develop test plans, test scripts, and test conditions to support solution testing.
  • Provide end-user support after deployment and address feedback to resolve issues.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of ETL experience.
  • 6+ years of Informatica experience required.
  • 8+ years of application development experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field.
  • Active IRS MBI clearance.
  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, analysis/design, development tools and technologies, release/version control, testing methodologies, and deployment management.
  • Hands-on experience with database design, normalization, data lakes, structured, semi-structured, and unstructured datasets.
  • Familiarity with HDFS, Kafka, ETL, RDBMS, NoSQL, SQL, data engineering, and related tools, programming languages, and technologies.
  • Experience analyzing databases, schemas, triggers, and stored procedures.
  • Excellent customer service and strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English proficiently.
