Description

  • Own the product end-to-end as a solo full-stack engineer across frontend, backend, and infrastructure.
  • Maintain platform health by handling incidents, defects, releases, and rollbacks.
  • Use AI-assisted coding tools while independently validating security, correctness, and robustness.
  • Lead engineering readiness for ISO 27001 and SOC 2 by April 2027.
  • Improve the reliability, measurability, and safety of AI assistant and orchestration features.
  • Evaluate which parts of the existing platform to preserve, isolate, improve, or replace based on risk and commercial value.
  • Harden, scale, and evolve product areas including delivery intelligence, SOW ingestion, project and resource management, and commercial workflows.
  • Collaborate directly with technical and non-technical founders in an ambiguous, evolving environment.
  • Help shape the company’s first supporting engineering hire as the team grows.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, preferably in an early-stage or high-ownership environment.
  • 5+ years of senior full-stack experience with React/TypeScript and Node/Postgres-style systems, or an equivalent modern JavaScript/TypeScript stack such as Next.js or Vue/Nuxt.
  • 4+ years owning cloud deployment, releases, and CI/CD without a dedicated DevOps or platform team.
  • 3+ years of experience with Postgres, Supabase, or an equivalent relational backend, including row-level security and edge functions.
  • 1–2+ years using AI-assisted or agentic coding tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, or Copilot in production development.
  • A clear process for validating AI-generated code rather than relying on it blindly.
  • Experience operating as a senior/staff-level full-stack generalist with solo or near-solo product ownership.
  • Preferred: 1–2+ years of LLM application engineering involving prompt design, evaluation, grounding, orchestration, or agent safety.
  • Preferred: 2+ years of security fundamentals, including multi-tenant access control, secrets management, and authentication/OAuth.
  • Preferred: experience with compliance engineering, startup or founding-engineer work, codebase remediation, or Stripe/payments API integrations.
