Description

  • Perform manual review and scoring of home sleep studies according to AASM guidelines and company protocols.
  • Review automated scoring results and correct sleep staging, respiratory events, oxygen desaturations, arousals, and other clinically relevant data.
  • Maintain high scoring accuracy while meeting productivity expectations in a high-volume workflow.
  • Identify studies that require physician review or clinical escalation.
  • Document scoring results thoroughly and maintain quality standards throughout the process.
  • Participate in quality assurance reviews, calibration exercises, and scoring consistency initiatives.
  • Collaborate with physicians and clinical team members to support timely study completion and efficient workflow.
  • Stay current on AASM scoring rule updates, industry best practices, and emerging sleep medicine standards.
  • Contribute to continuous process improvement for quality, efficiency, and workflow.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Current RPSGT or RRT-SDS credential required.
  • Additional state licensure may be required depending on service states.
  • 5–8 years of sleep study scoring experience required.
  • Extensive experience with manual scoring and quality review of sleep studies.
  • Strong knowledge of AASM scoring guidelines and sleep medicine principles.
  • Experience reviewing automated scoring and making clinically appropriate corrections.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and consistency.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet productivity goals.
  • Proficiency with sleep scoring software and electronic health record systems.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate within a remote clinical team.
  • Experience scoring Home Sleep Tests (HSTs) preferred, with WatchPAT and CloudPat experience preferred.
  • Previous experience with quality assurance, scoring audits, or scoring oversight preferred.
  • Comfortable learning new technologies and adapting to evolving workflows preferred.

  • Base pay of $32.00 to $37.00 per hour.
