Description

  • Own a portfolio of client accounts totaling approximately $4M in annual revenue.
  • Lead onboarding for new accounts and help convert project-based clients into long-term retained partnerships.
  • Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders and serve as the primary point of contact for the account.
  • Develop a deep understanding of each client’s business strategy, goals, and priorities and connect them to SketchDeck’s work.
  • Lead monthly check-ins, quarterly business reviews, and ongoing strategic conversations with senior client stakeholders.
  • Proactively identify client risks, opportunities, and needs before they become issues.
  • Own revenue forecasting for the portfolio and track performance against targets.
  • Identify expansion opportunities, including projects, retainers, renewals, cross-sell, and upsell opportunities.
  • Partner with Project Managers, Creative Leads, and Business Development to deliver a seamless client experience.
  • Clarify client briefs, surface client context and feedback, and contribute to how SketchDeck evolves its client partnership approach.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of account management or client services experience within a creative, design, or marketing agency.
  • Experience owning and growing accounts with responsibility for retention, renewals, and revenue growth.
  • Strong understanding of creative and digital delivery, with experience partnering closely with project, creative, or production teams.
  • Collaborative by default, with a habit of sharing context freely and flagging issues early.
  • Proven ability to build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders and lead business conversations.
  • Confidence and credibility with senior executives and CMO-level stakeholders, with clear and direct communication.
  • Experience using project management platforms such as Asana, Monday.com, Workfront, or similar.
  • PST or CST time zone preferred.

  • Base salary of $110k.
  • On-target commission of $10-20k with uncapped commission potential.
  • Total on-target earnings of $130k.
