Description

  • Lead the product organization responsible for the models, data systems, and decisioning infrastructure behind approve/decline decisions for billions of ecommerce transactions.
  • Own and improve loss rate performance across scalable risk decisioning systems while maintaining strong approval rates.
  • Drive conversion improvements for enterprise merchants, including optimization at the issuer and bank authorization layer.
  • Set the research agenda for Signifyd AI Lab and ensure a tight loop between modeling innovation and commercial impact.
  • Own the product roadmap for the real-time risk platform, including speed, reliability, and support for increasingly sophisticated models.
  • Drive expansion and quality improvements across the feature system that transforms raw network data into production model signals.
  • Guide the evolution of data infrastructure that ingests, processes, stores, and serves data for the identity network and decisioning models.
  • Lead product strategy for Authorization Rate Optimization across payment networks, merchant integrations, and internal data capabilities.
  • Manage and develop a team of senior product managers across AI, risk, and decisioning systems.
  • Partner closely with engineering, data science, risk, CTO, CRO, CPO, and CEO to translate technical progress into business outcomes.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of product leadership experience.
  • Experience owning PMs or teams that drive major product areas.
  • Experience in fintech, payments, ecommerce, fraud, or AI-driven decision systems preferred.
  • Experience working closely with data science or machine learning teams.
  • Demonstrated track record of owning and improving business metrics.
  • Experience leading teams that build and deploy machine learning systems.
  • Ability to distinguish between research progress and production readiness.
  • Strong commercial judgment and comfort discussing model performance, risk economics, and conversion strategy with merchants.
  • Founder or entrepreneurial operating experience is a plus.
  • Ability to lead senior product managers, create clarity on priorities, and set a high bar for outcomes.

  • Base salary of $220,000–$280,000 annually depending on pay zone.
