Description

  • Lead the implementation of new front-end functionality for the Signaloid Cloud Developer Platform.
  • Extend and improve the platform’s testing and QA infrastructure.
  • Enhance the performance of the Signaloid Cloud Developer Platform.
  • Define your own objectives in support of company-wide goals and key results.
  • Assess the quality of your implementations against explicit and implicit team design standards.
  • Deliver new functionality and tests on a regular release schedule.
  • Collaborate with engineering and commercial teams across the company.
  • Contribute to and help define the future direction of key parts of the platform after the first year.
  • Take on increased strategy, autonomy, and leadership responsibility within the engineering team.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate or master’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, or a related discipline.
  • More than 3 years of experience working as a frontend engineer.
  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Experience with modern web frameworks such as Angular or Vue.
  • Experience with frontend state management tools such as NGRX/NGXS or Vuex.
  • Experience writing testable, reusable code, associated tests, and documentation.
  • Experience working on full-stack applications with backend engineers and understanding full-stack data flow.
  • Hands-on experience with REST APIs and common authentication and authorization patterns.
  • Experience working with Product and Design to define developer and user experience.
  • Experience with product analytics platforms such as PostHog, Google Analytics, or Sentry.
  • Ability to design clean, intuitive, pixel-perfect interfaces from Figma designs and your own experience.
  • Experience with interface design tools such as Figma or Framer.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A willingness to listen until others feel understood, with honesty and empathy.
  • Preferred experience working at a startup.
  • Preferred experience with GraphQL.
  • Preferred experience implementing accessible design in line with the European Accessibility Act.
  • Preferred understanding of SEO principles.
  • Preferred experience working with UX/UI/Product designers.
  • Preferred knowledge of good CI/CD practices.
  • Preferred experience deploying cloud applications.
