Description

  • Define and own the product roadmap for the payments platform from a global perspective.
  • Provide clear direction and milestones to SCRUM teams and execute against the roadmap.
  • Lead launch planning and adoption efforts for core payments APIs and implementations.
  • Communicate product strategy, trade-offs, and progress to executive leadership including the VP and CEO.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, architecture, stakeholders, and other teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Prioritize the needs of technical users and translate those needs into product decisions.
  • Define product strategy, maintain the feature backlog, and coordinate releases.
  • Create detailed specifications and partner with engineering to deliver products on predictable timelines.
  • Integrate qualitative and quantitative user feedback into product requirements.
  • Track performance, define success metrics, and iterate based on results and milestones.

Requirements

  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent; MS in Computer Science or MBA preferred.
  • 8+ years of product management experience in the FinTech payments sector.
  • 2-3 years of software engineering experience is highly valued.
  • Strong background in mobile payments, especially QR payments, is required.
  • Experience with acquiring services is preferred; issuing services, including mobile apps, is also valued.
  • Experience with core banking services such as mobile wallets.
  • Experience managing end-to-end app release cycles, including discovery, design, development, UAT, QA, post-release monitoring, analytics, and reporting.
  • Deep understanding of analytics, business intelligence, data warehousing tools, user research, and business cases.
  • Experience launching A/B tests and iterating based on results.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills for both business and technical discussions.
