Description

  • Collaborate with product owners and user experience designers to gather and document requirements in BDD format.
  • Work with product owners to obtain sign-off on requirements and manage scope changes.
  • Translate demo feedback from product owners into actionable requirements.
  • Work with development and QA teams to groom user stories.
  • Clarify requirement questions with development and QA teams throughout delivery.
  • Review work completed by other business analysts.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to the team process.
  • Communicate strategies and trade-offs to leadership as needed.
  • Work cross-functionally with engineering, architecture, stakeholders, and other teams across the software development lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or an MBA.
  • Experience performing requirements analysis and documentation.
  • Knowledge and experience in the insurance domain, preferably premium audit.
  • Experience working in Agile methodology.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
  • Familiarity with SAFe methodology is a plus.
  • Experience with reverse engineering or reengineering efforts to some degree.
  • Knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, or Visual Basic is a plus.
  • Ability to communicate strategies and trade-offs to VP and CEO stakeholders.
  • Experience aligning understanding in real time across engineering, architecture, and business stakeholders.
