Description

  • Own the end-to-end mobile development process.
  • Build performant, scalable, and sustainable mobile application architecture and software.
  • Develop dynamic, responsive, high-quality mobile interfaces using React Native and related technologies.
  • Support critical technology incidents by debugging and resolving mobile issues.
  • Contribute to technology architecture, scalability, security, and performance initiatives.
  • Lead React Native upgrades and manage version migrations and dependency compatibility.
  • Deliver high-quality engineering work aligned with the company’s commercial objectives.
  • Mentor other mobile engineers and broader team members.
  • Work within defined project management guidelines and security best practices.
  • Provide technical input to the product team and roadmap discussions.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in mobile development using React Native.
  • Strong experience with the React Native ecosystem, including React Navigation and Redux, React Query, or TanStack Query.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
  • Experience building performant, responsive, cross-platform iOS and Android applications.
  • Familiarity with testing tools and frameworks such as Jest, React Native Testing Library, Detox, or similar.
  • Good understanding of RESTful APIs and backend service integration.
  • Experience identifying performance bottlenecks and optimizing mobile applications.
  • Experience working in teams of 3 or more developers, with pair programming and code reviews.
  • Proven experience upgrading React Native versions and managing complex dependency changes.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines such as CircleCI and Fastlane.
  • Experience working in Agile environments such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Native iOS/Android development experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity or interest in Vue.js, Serverless, Node.js, and Ruby on Rails is a plus.
  • Confident, autonomous, and able to contribute regularly to architectural and team discussions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
