Description

  • Lead, coach, and manage Patient Support Associates supporting medication adherence, prior authorization, and financial assistance.
  • Provide ongoing performance management, training, mentorship, and team development.
  • Manage staffing, scheduling, PTO, and time reporting in ADP.
  • Support team workload during peak periods or when short-staffed.
  • Partner with hospital and clinic stakeholders through regular meetings and collaboration calls.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with pharmacy and clinical teams.
  • Monitor service level metrics, quality standards, audits, and system workflows.
  • Establish and optimize workflows across Patient Support, liaison, and clinical integration teams.
  • Identify and implement operational improvements and best practices.
  • Support data, analytics, contracting, special projects, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.

Requirements

  • Active Pharmacy Technician license/registration in the applicable state.
  • National CPhT certification is required.
  • 3+ years of pharmacy technician experience, preferably in specialty pharmacy.
  • Prior leadership experience, formal or informal, is strongly preferred.
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred or in progress.
  • Leadership or management training is preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word for data analysis and reporting.
  • Experience with pharmacy/EMR systems such as Willow, QS1, or RX30 is preferred.
  • Ability to lead both remote and on-site teams.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% if outside core locations.
