Description

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable machine learning infrastructure on AWS, including SageMaker-based training and deployment.
  • Develop and deploy machine learning models that support personalization, fraud detection, and credit risk assessment.
  • Collaborate with product teams to create MVPs for AI-driven features and iterate based on market feedback.
  • Build monitoring and alerting frameworks to ensure model performance, reliability, and minimal downtime.
  • Enable other departments to use AI and ML solutions, including generative AI use cases.
  • Provide production support by debugging model issues and participating in on-call incident response.
  • Scale machine learning architecture to support rapid user growth while maintaining robustness and efficiency.
  • Conduct code reviews, mentor team members, and share knowledge to strengthen team capability.
  • Stay current on machine learning and AWS advancements and help adopt new tools and approaches.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Machine Learning, Statistics, Physics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6+ years of experience in machine learning engineering.
  • Demonstrated success deploying scalable machine learning models in production.
  • Deep expertise in machine learning, recommendation systems, pattern recognition, data mining, artificial intelligence, or related fields (preferred).
  • Proficiency with Python is required.
  • Experience with Golang is a plus.
  • Proven technical leadership, including guiding teams, owning end-to-end projects, and setting technical direction (preferred).
  • Experience with relational databases, data warehouses, and SQL.
  • Strong familiarity with AWS cloud services for deploying and scaling machine learning solutions.
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or AWS CloudWatch.
  • Experience building recommender systems or personalized recommendation experiences.
  • Solid foundation in data processing and pipeline frameworks such as Apache Spark and Kafka.
  • Ability to work in a full-time, remote role.

Benefits

  • Salary range of $50,000 to $120,000 per year gross in USD.
