Description

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable machine learning infrastructure on AWS, including AWS SageMaker for model training and deployment.
  • Collaborate with product teams to develop MVPs for AI-driven features and refine solutions through rapid iteration and market testing.
  • Develop and enhance monitoring and alerting systems for machine learning models to maintain performance, reliability, and uptime.
  • Support cross-functional teams in using AI/ML models, including generative AI solutions, for a range of business use cases.
  • Provide production support by debugging ML model issues, participating in on-call rotations, and resolving incidents.
  • Design and scale machine learning architecture to support rapid user growth with robust and efficient systems.
  • Conduct code reviews, mentor team members, and improve team capabilities through knowledge sharing.
  • Stay current on machine learning and AWS advancements and help drive adoption of new solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Machine Learning, Statistics, Physics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6+ years of experience in machine learning engineering.
  • Demonstrated success deploying scalable ML models in a production environment.
  • Deep expertise in one or more of the following: machine learning, recommendation systems, pattern recognition, data mining, artificial intelligence, or related fields.
  • Proficiency in Python is required.
  • Experience with Golang is a plus.
  • Experience working with relational databases, data warehouses, and SQL.
  • Strong familiarity with AWS cloud services for deploying, managing, and scaling ML solutions cost-effectively.
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or AWS CloudWatch.
  • Experience developing recommender systems or personalized recommendation features.
  • Solid foundation in data processing and pipeline frameworks such as Apache Spark and Kafka.
  • Demonstrated technical leadership, including guiding teams, owning end-to-end projects, and setting technical direction.
