Description

  • Build and maintain innovative product features while learning new areas of the platform.
  • Collaborate with engineers and feature owners to design, develop, and deliver new functionality.
  • Participate in design and architecture discussions for upcoming features and platform improvements.
  • Contribute hands-on to the codebase and participate in code reviews.
  • Mentor engineers who are early in their careers.
  • Help the team continuously build and deploy scalable solutions.
  • Assist with planning, estimations, and project completion alongside stakeholders.
  • Work across multiple teams to solve complex technical problems and improve product quality.

Requirements

  • 3-7 years of experience in a software development role.
  • Experience solving technical problems as part of a team.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science preferred, or equivalent related experience.
  • Familiarity with modern frontend development, with React experience preferred.
  • Ability to work with backend-focused languages such as Go or another compiled, statically typed language.
  • Intermediate understanding of relational databases such as MySQL.
  • Knowledge of automated testing practices, including unit, integration, and end-to-end tests (preferred).
  • Familiarity with RESTful API design principles (preferred).
  • Basic knowledge of microservice architecture (preferred).
  • Familiarity with software engineering tools, development methodologies, and release processes (preferred).
