Description

  • Build and maintain new product features in a cross-platform TypeScript React Native app.
  • Collaborate with product and feature owners to understand requirements and suggest improvements.
  • Participate in design and architecture discussions for new platform features.
  • Contribute to code reviews and work hands-on in the codebase.
  • Write clean, scalable, robust, and testable code.
  • Help plan, estimate, and complete projects with team stakeholders.
  • Support the mobile app as a platform and work with engineers across multiple teams.
  • Solve technical problems in high-traffic customer-facing applications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • Experience solving technical problems as part of a team.
  • Experience with Swift.
  • Familiarity with modern frontend development using JavaScript or TypeScript.
  • React Native or React web experience is strongly preferred.
  • Experience developing and delivering a mobile app to the App Store or Google Play Store is preferred.
  • Knowledge of automated testing for applications, including unit, integration, and end-to-end tests, is preferred.
  • Familiarity with React Native app principles, RESTful APIs, software engineering tools, development methodology, and release processes is preferred.
  • Ability to work in a full-time, remote role.
  • Senior, Mid, or Junior level compensation aligned to experience.
  • Golang, TypeScript, Python, React, React Native, MySQL, Postgres, Elasticsearch, AWS, Kubernetes, Git, and GitLab are part of the technical environment.
