Description

  • Respond to and resolve IT service desk tickets in Jira for hardware, software, and user access issues.
  • Diagnose and resolve end-user device problems on macOS and Windows systems.
  • Support laptop and peripheral setup, imaging, and distribution for new and existing employees.
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding tasks, including account provisioning, access removal, and equipment collection.
  • Maintain accurate IT asset inventory records, including tagging, documentation, and periodic audits.
  • Create and update internal troubleshooting documentation, FAQs, and process workflows.
  • Support IT Operations projects related to system improvements, automation, and infrastructure upgrades.
  • Perform miscellaneous tasks and projects that support the IT Operations team’s goals.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or technical program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Preferred academic focus in IT Operations, Systems Administration, or Infrastructure Management.
  • Based in Bogotá, Colombia, with the ability to work remotely and onsite when required.
  • Familiarity with macOS and Windows operating systems.
  • Basic understanding of networking, device configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Exposure to cloud-based tools such as Google Workspace.
  • Interest in learning IT ticketing systems, MDM platforms, and automation tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Prior IT support experience through academic work, internships, or volunteer work is preferred.
