Description

  • Partner with a Territory Business Leader to develop territory plans and strategies that meet or exceed goals.
  • Execute clinical selling strategies within assigned accounts.
  • Assess referrals to confirm people with diabetes meet product utilization criteria.
  • Deliver product education and training to users of Sequel products.
  • Drive healthcare provider adoption and confidence through clinical education and product demonstrations.
  • Certify healthcare providers to conduct product training for people with diabetes.
  • Lead virtual product training sessions and educational webinars.
  • Share user feedback cross-functionally to improve problem-solving and product development.
  • Collaborate with customer care and sales support to improve the user experience.
  • Manage leads and opportunities in the customer relations database and submit required training documentation.
  • Maintain relationships with patient advocacy groups and diabetes professional organizations.
  • For Senior CDS roles, mentor junior staff, assist with field sales training, participate on advisory boards, and lead team calls as needed.

Requirements

  • Valid professional license in one or more of the following: RN, RD, PA, NP, or Pharmacist.
  • Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) is preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience coordinating and conducting diabetes education is preferred.
  • Strong experience using diabetes technology is preferred.
  • 4+ years of clinical diabetes education experience is required for the Senior CDS role.
  • Experience coordinating and conducting diabetes device education in the medical device industry is preferred for the Senior CDS role.
  • Demonstrated history of high performance in previous roles.
  • Excellent presentation skills and ability to answer questions from patients and healthcare providers in real time.
  • Strong data analysis, evaluation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of diabetes products and therapies.
  • Must live within the assigned geography.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Ability to carry and transport professional samples and literature.
  • Ability to commute long distances daily, including possible overnight travel; most travel is by car.
  • For Senior CDS roles: top 25% performance history and meeting clinical metrics in the medical device industry is preferred.
  • For Senior CDS roles: experience in field sales training, mentoring, or advisory board/clinical committee programs is preferred.
  • For Senior CDS roles: experience representing the organization at industry conferences such as ADA or ADCES is preferred.
  • For Senior CDS roles: demonstrated career progression into roles with increased responsibility is preferred.
