Description

  • Partner with the Territory Business Leader to develop territory plans and strategies that meet or exceed goals.
  • Execute clinical selling strategies across assigned accounts.
  • Assess referrals to confirm product eligibility and appropriate use.
  • Deliver product education, training, and demonstrations for people with diabetes and healthcare providers.
  • Drive provider adoption and confidence in Sequel products through clinical education and training.
  • Certify healthcare providers to train patients on Sequel products.
  • Facilitate virtual training sessions, webinars, and educational forums.
  • Share user feedback cross-functionally to help solve problems and improve product development.
  • Collaborate with customer care and sales support to improve the user experience.
  • Manage leads, opportunities, and training documentation in the CRM daily.
  • Maintain relationships with advocacy groups and professional diabetes organizations.
  • For the Senior CDS role, mentor junior staff, assist with field sales and clinical training, lead calls/meetings as needed, and participate in advisory boards.

Requirements

  • A valid professional license as an RN, RD, PA, NP, or Pharmacist.
  • CDCES certification is preferred for the CDS role and required for the Senior CDS role.
  • 2+ years of experience coordinating and conducting diabetes education, with strong experience using diabetes technology preferred.
  • 4+ years of clinical diabetes education experience required for the Senior CDS role.
  • Experience coordinating and conducting diabetes device education in the medical device industry is preferred for the Senior CDS role.
  • Demonstrated high performance in previous roles.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, including the ability to answer patient and provider questions in real time.
  • Strong data analysis, evaluation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of diabetes products and therapies.
  • Must live within the assigned territory.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Ability to carry and transport samples and literature, and to drive extensively with possible overnight travel.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • For the Senior CDS role, prior leadership, field training, advisory board, conference, sales-partnership, and career progression experience is preferred or required as noted.
