Description

  • Design, build, and evolve complex software systems across the product stack.
  • Develop backend functionality in a JVM language or Python.
  • Build and maintain large front-end applications using TypeScript and React.
  • Collaborate with teammates through pair programming, code reviews, and agile practices.
  • Apply software design principles, testing, and continuous integration to deliver maintainable code.
  • Mentor junior engineers and take on leadership responsibilities within the team.
  • Work across frontend and backend codebases to own features end-to-end.
  • Contribute to generative AI infrastructure and/or applications.
  • Communicate proactively with managers and colleagues about feedback and growth opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree, or equivalent experience, in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
  • Substantial professional experience in software development and a strong record of building complex software systems over several years.
  • Strong understanding of software design principles, patterns, and best practices.
  • Expertise in building large React applications with TypeScript.
  • Expertise in one or more backend languages such as Java, Kotlin, or Python.
  • Experience building and deploying generative AI infrastructure and/or applications.
  • Ability to work effectively across frontend and backend codebases and own features end-to-end.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to guide and mentor junior engineers.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Must be authorized to work in the country of residence; Seeq does not sponsor US F1 or H-1B visas.
