Description

  • Design, build, and evolve complex software systems for industrial process data analytics.
  • Develop backend functionality in a JVM language or Python and contribute across the stack.
  • Build visually polished front-end experiences in the TypeScript and React application.
  • Apply software design principles, patterns, and best practices to create maintainable code.
  • Use unit testing, continuous integration, and code reviews to improve quality and catch bugs quickly.
  • Collaborate with teammates through pair programming, agile practices, and cross-functional communication.
  • Lead development efforts within the team and mentor junior engineers.
  • Work with databases, distributed computing, and cloud platforms as needed.
  • Contribute to generative AI infrastructure and application development.
  • Own features end-to-end across frontend and backend codebases.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree, or equivalent experience, in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
  • Substantial professional experience in software development with a strong record of building and evolving complex systems over several years.
  • Strong understanding of software design principles, patterns, and best practices.
  • Expertise in building large React applications with TypeScript.
  • Expertise in one or more backend languages such as Java, Kotlin, or Python.
  • Experience building and deploying generative AI infrastructure and/or applications.
  • Ability to work effectively across frontend and backend codebases and own features end-to-end.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to guide and mentor junior engineers.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies and tools such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Must be authorized to work in the country of residence; Seeq does not sponsor US F1 or H-1B visas.
  • Availability to meet in person once a year is expected.
