Description

  • Act as the primary finance partner to assigned departments and support operational and strategic decision-making.
  • Build relationships with executives and department leaders to understand cost drivers, operational plans, and financial risks.
  • Lead the annual budgeting process for assigned cost centers, including target setting and alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Develop and maintain rolling forecasts and identify risks and opportunities.
  • Track performance against budget and forecast and proactively address variances with department heads.
  • Own month-end close activities for assigned cost centers, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
  • Review and validate transactions, accruals, and cost allocations.
  • Analyze monthly results and prepare variance analysis versus budget and forecast.
  • Prepare and present financial reports and insights to CFO, finance leadership, and business stakeholders.
  • Support financial transactions, internal controls, financial governance, and expense classification with Accounting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in financial controlling, FP&A, or related roles.
  • Experience in a manufacturing, automotive, or industrial environment preferred.
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial close processes.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience with ERP and planning systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Anaplan preferred.
  • Desired experience with AI automation initiatives.
  • Ability to work 4-5 days per week in the office in Charlotte, NC.
  • Ability to travel occasionally, including domestic travel and some international travel.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.

  • Competitive compensation with a base salary range of $100,000 to $125,000.
