Description

  • Design data pipelines based on business needs and translate data into business insights.
  • Build, cleanse, and transform data through ETL and data integration layers.
  • Work across the full data lifecycle, including ingestion, transformation, modeling, and delivery.
  • Contribute to architectural decisions and establish best practices for data systems.
  • Gather requirements from vested teams to develop features and deliverables.
  • Support high-quality, scalable, high-volume data systems for analytics products.
  • Understand priorities and ensure deliverables stay on timeline and projects are completed on time.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders across functions.

Requirements

  • 3–7 years of experience in data engineering or software development at an enterprise level.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Apache Spark (Scala).
  • Strong hands-on experience with Python.
  • Strong hands-on experience with MySQL and relational databases.
  • Experience with columnar storage formats such as Apache Parquet.
  • Experience with the AWS ecosystem, including data lake architectures.
  • Familiarity with Airflow for orchestration.
  • Familiarity with Databricks.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, such as GitHub Actions.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, storage, and access patterns.
  • Experience building highly scalable, high-volume data systems.
  • Solid understanding of ETL processes and data integration layers.
  • Experience with Java is preferred.
  • Experience with Angular or Play Framework is a plus.
  • Experience with Tableau or other BI tools is a plus.
  • Experience with Aerospike or NoSQL databases is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Hadoop ecosystem and EMR management is a plus.
  • Experience in AdTech or digital media environments is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Linux systems is a plus.
