Description

  • Design, implement, and maintain data security controls across cloud platforms, applications, databases, and data pipelines.
  • Develop and operate data protection capabilities such as data classification, encryption, key management, data loss prevention, and access governance.
  • Monitor, investigate, and respond to data security incidents, including root-cause analysis and remediation.
  • Partner with engineering, platform, and compliance teams to embed security requirements into system design, software development, and data lifecycle processes.
  • Assess security risks and perform technical reviews of systems and data environments.
  • Support compliance with regulatory and industry standards, including GDPR, ISO 27001, and NIS2.
  • Identify and mitigate data exposure risks in databases, data warehouses, APIs, and data pipelines.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience securing cloud-based environments.
  • Experience with identity and access management, encryption, logging, and security monitoring.
  • Strong knowledge of data security principles, including data classification, DLP, key management, secrets management, data privacy, and secure data handling.
  • Experience implementing security controls for databases, data warehouses, APIs, and data pipelines.
  • Proficiency with security tooling and automation, including SIEM, vulnerability management, infrastructure-as-code, scripting such as Python or Bash, and cloud security platforms.
  • Ability to perform security risk assessments and investigate incidents.
  • Ability to communicate technical findings clearly and collaborate effectively with engineering, platform, and compliance teams.
