Description

  • Provide world-class hardware and software support for Samsara’s IoT product portfolio (hardware, software, and cloud).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues of medium to high complexity, prioritizing SLA targets and timely responses.
  • Manage support tickets end-to-end and collaborate with customers to drive issues to resolution.
  • Author and maintain customer-facing knowledge base articles in partnership with Enablement to improve self-serviceability.
  • Reproduce bugs, build testbeds, and work closely with Engineering and Product teams to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
  • Provide product and process feedback to Support Management and Product/Engineering teams to improve the customer experience.
  • Collaborate with other Tier 2 support engineers across locations and champion Samsara’s cultural principles as a team player.

Requirements

  • B.S. in Computer Science, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or another technical field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in support, engineering, or other technical roles.
  • Bilingual in English and French (required).
  • Right to work in the UK (this is a remote position for candidates with UK work authorization).
  • Familiarity with CRMs such as Zendesk or Salesforce.
  • Comfortable interfacing with engineers, translating complex technical concepts into customer-facing language, and working with SaaS systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a hyper-growth environment with shifting priorities and a strong bias for action and high standards.
  • Willingness to work holidays and weekends as needed as part of a rotation.
  • Preferred: hands-on experience with industrial systems/electronics/IoT devices or tinkering with cars; experience with GraphQL, Databricks, and troubleshooting APIs; additional languages such as German or Dutch are a plus.
