Description

  • Lead the strategy for an AI-centric digital workplace by integrating generative AI and intelligent agents into employee workflows.
  • Champion the digital employee experience by defining and improving sentiment-based metrics and technology satisfaction.
  • Drive zero-touch automation for device lifecycle management, software distribution, and security patching.
  • Define and maintain global audiovisual and meeting technology standards across offices and internal events.
  • Lead end user support, including helpdesk operations, IT service management, self-service capabilities, and service level targets.
  • Direct hardware and software lifecycle management, including procurement, provisioning, patching, and asset disposal.
  • Lead internal teams and manage external vendors while maintaining performance, budgets, and process improvement.
  • Manage internal tools as a product portfolio by gathering feedback, iterating on features, and maintaining a roadmap.
  • Partner with Information Security on endpoint security, compliance, DLP controls, IAM integrations, and incident response.
  • Hire, develop, and lead an inclusive, engaged, high-performing team while modeling Samsara’s cultural principles.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of IT leadership experience, including at least 2 years at the Director level in infrastructure, digital workplace, or end-user services.
  • Demonstrated experience managing technology platforms as products with a focus on adoption, iteration, and feature development.
  • Deep familiarity with modern endpoint management, including Intune, macOS/Windows management, and VDI.
  • Proven track record implementing AI and automation tools to improve IT operations.
  • Ability to drive organizational change and transition employees to AI-augmented workflows and automated processes.
  • Exceptional ability to communicate technical vision to executive leadership and influence company-wide cultural shifts.
  • Experience managing AV environments and familiarity with enterprise networking concepts such as SD-WAN, ZTNA, and wireless.
  • Experience with ITSM platforms and a track record of maturing service delivery operations is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to work remotely from the U.S. or Canada; relocation assistance is not provided.
  • Experience supporting regulatory and audit requirements, endpoint compliance, DLP, and IAM integrations is preferred.

Benefits

  • Annual base salary of $138,432 to $247,200 USD.
  • Eligible for an initial RSU grant with no vesting cliff.
