Description

  • Conduct outbound calls to patients to complete intake meetings and gather needed information.
  • Manage patient scheduling, appointments, and follow-up coordination.
  • Handle medical records, data entry, and documentation in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Monitor, triage, and respond to incoming patient or member messages.
  • Ensure patient records are accurately entered and kept up to date in the EHR.
  • Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality in all work.
  • Provide general administrative support to the care team and patients.
  • Manage patient tasks to support timely documentation and communication.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a medical assistant, virtual medical assistant, or administrative support professional in a healthcare setting.
  • Experience working remotely.
  • Experience making outbound calls to patients.
  • Strong familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic, eCW, or gGastro.
  • Experience with message triage, charting, or medical documentation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Experience working with GI conditions is preferred.
  • Familiarity with telemedicine platforms is a plus.
