Description

  • Conduct outbound calls to patients to complete intake meetings.
  • Manage patient scheduling, appointments, and follow-ups.
  • Handle medical records, data entry, and documentation in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Monitor, triage, and respond to incoming patient or member messages.
  • Ensure patient records are accurately entered and updated in the EHR system.
  • Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality at all times.
  • Provide general administrative support to the care team and patients.
  • Manage patient tasks to ensure timely documentation and communication.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a medical assistant, virtual medical assistant, or administrative support professional in a healthcare setting.
  • Experience working remotely.
  • Experience making outbound calls to patients.
  • Strong familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic, eCW, or gGastro.
  • Experience with message triaging, charting, or medical documentation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Familiarity with telemedicine platforms is a plus.
  • Part-time availability for a remote role based in Charlotte, NC.
