Description

  • Develop and implement cloud-native DevSecOps functionality for CI/CD pipeline solutions in AWS.
  • Improve and maintain GitLab pipeline configurations.
  • Interpret cyber security guidelines to resolve code vulnerabilities.
  • Maintain, monitor, and research solutions to optimize the parent scan pipeline and streamline CI/CD tools and processes.
  • Assist with GitLab upgrades, including evening support as needed.
  • Design and build secure, scalable, and automated container environments using Amazon ECS and EKS.
  • Configure customer projects and access to the pipeline, including git and credential setup on customer assets and repositories.
  • Onboard new applications and customers to the CI/CD environment and provide training, guidance, and troubleshooting support.
  • Create, maintain, update, and monitor gitlab-ci.yaml files and pipeline health checks.
  • Research alternatives, recommend technical solutions, architect new CI/CD environments, and present briefs or demos to customers and leadership.
  • Update and maintain documentation.
  • Mentor junior teammates.

Requirements

  • CI/CD implementation experience is required.
  • Experience designing and developing DevSecOps pipelines is required.
  • Experience with Amazon ECS and EKS is required.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills, including technical guidance, how-to instructions, test plans, demos, or training presentations, are required.
  • CompTIA Security+ certification is required and proof must be provided before interview.
  • BS/BA degree with 10 years of related experience, AA/AS degree with 14 years of related experience, or HS diploma with 16 years of related experience.
  • Experience with GitLab Ultimate, Nexus, DORA metrics, and Prisma Cloud (formerly Twistlock) is highly desired.
  • Experience working in a DoD environment is highly desired.
  • Experience with OpenShift and Nexus is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced technical environment is desired.
  • Active TS/SSBI clearance is desired, or an active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SSBI.
