Description

  • Design and implement security standards for identity, endpoints, secrets management, and business applications.
  • Partner with IT and other stakeholders to improve the security posture of enterprise applications, integrations, and access to sensitive data.
  • Evaluate, develop, and manage security and compliance policies within IT management systems.
  • Analyze and harden applications, infrastructure, automation, and deployment pipelines.
  • Draft security standards and implement monitoring, alerting, and governance with Corp IT, operations, and governance teams.
  • Review and approve application security requests for new tools and services used by Rubrik and its employees.
  • Support the SOC in analyzing threats, vulnerabilities, controls, and residual risks.
  • Partner with Vulnerability Management and Threat Operations to remediate critical vulnerabilities and detect indicators of compromise.
  • Monitor and manage EDR policies.
  • Help deploy technologies for AI usage and security and use AI tools and agents to improve team efficiency.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in enterprise security, with hands-on administration and design experience across Windows, Mac, Okta, and public cloud infrastructure.
  • Broad knowledge of enterprise attack vectors and exploits in both end-user and IT applications.
  • Subject matter expertise in business applications, endpoint management, and identity management.
  • Deep understanding of endpoint systems, corporate networking including Wi-Fi, and IT application systems such as Salesforce, Mulesoft, and Lastpass.
  • Programming experience in PowerShell, Python, Go, or Java.
  • Experience deploying and securing enterprise applications and environments at scale.
  • Security and administrative expertise in at least one major public cloud provider: AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Understanding of corporate security maturity model frameworks and how to apply them.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of regulatory guidelines and standards such as SOC2, ISO 27001, and FedRAMP.
  • Experience with JAMF, Intune, CircleCI, GitHub workflows, Tines, or Zapier is preferred.
  • Experience with AI tools or security for AI deployments is preferred.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $150,200–$225,400 USD for SF Bay Area, DC Metro, NYC, and Seattle locations.
  • Base salary range of $135,200–$202,800 USD for all other US offices/remote locations.
  • Eligible for bonus potential.
  • Eligible for equity.
  • Benefits included as part of the total compensation package.
  • Background check and screening process may vary by risk designation and role access requirements.
