Description

  • Architect and scale the AI-driven Nutrition Copilot, including the conversational interface and backend orchestration.
  • Build and maintain a Tool Manager for retrieval-augmented generation across food and user databases.
  • Develop real-time nutritional coaching experiences powered by LLMs and multi-agent logic.
  • Ship new Flutter features for iOS, Android, and web while maintaining the existing codebase.
  • Work within an atomic design system and reusable component architecture in Flutter.
  • Lead the migration of backend services from FastAPI to Go.
  • Build a new backend for a new product offering from the ground up.
  • Experiment with AI tools, internal software, and automations to improve company effectiveness.
  • Collaborate directly with co-founders, design, marketing, and customers on product decisions.
  • Contribute across the stack as part of a small engineering team.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience writing production code across frontend and backend.
  • Experience with AI orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, CrewAI, or custom agentic logic.
  • Strong understanding of retrieval-augmented generation and LLM optimization through tool-calling and prompt engineering.
  • Experience building high-concurrency backends for real-time AI interactions and data streaming.
  • Strong software engineering background with a demonstrable track record of shipping.
  • Comfort working in fast-paced, nimble startup environments.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with experience launching products or working at startups, or a strong interest in doing so.
  • Generalist mindset and willingness to take on varied technical challenges.
  • Appreciation for product, brand, and UI design.
  • Confidence making decisions amid ambiguity.
  • Bonus: experience launching your own app, product, or project.
  • Bonus: familiarity with subscription apps, RevenueCat, paywall testing, or MMPs.
  • Bonus: some proficiency with Figma and comfort making design decisions without complete specs.
  • Bonus: experience integrating AI into workflows and using modern AI tooling.
  • Bonus: experience building AI consumer products.
  • Frontend experience with Flutter.
  • Backend experience with FastAPI, Python, and Go.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
