Description

  • Query, extract, and transform BigQuery data to answer complex business questions across inventory, organic sales, traffic, sponsored ads, and DSP.
  • Understand the data warehouse schema, including table relationships, joins, and domain coverage, to support accurate analysis.
  • Partner with internal teams to identify the highest-value analytical questions and recurring needs from clients and staff.
  • Design and build automated data pipelines and queries that provide AI tools with clean, structured, contextually relevant data.
  • Develop and refine Claude Skills and Gemini Gems that enable conversational AI to perform reliable eCommerce data analysis.
  • Document analytical best practices and methodologies so AI tools can replicate expert-level reasoning in workflow automation.
  • Validate AI-generated outputs against manual analysis and continuously improve accuracy and trustworthiness.
  • Automate recurring analytical workflows into chatbot-style interfaces that non-technical team members can use.
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and repetitive tasks, then design and deploy AI agents to automate reporting, deliverable generation, and internal workflow management.
  • Build, test, and maintain AI agents using Claude and Gemini, ensuring reliable performance and team adoption.

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in SQL, including complex queries, multi-table joins, window functions, and CTEs.
  • Working proficiency in Python for data manipulation and analysis using Pandas, NumPy, or similar tools.
  • Familiarity with JavaScript and JSON file structures.
  • Hands-on experience with Google BigQuery.
  • Experience developing for or working with large language models, specifically Gemini and/or Claude tools such as Gems, Claude Code, Claude Co-work, or Skills.
  • Hands-on experience building and managing AI agents that automate business processes and routine tasks.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, including schema design, table relationships, and data modeling.
  • Ability to translate business questions into precise queries and AI-readable instructions.
  • Business acumen and operational awareness to independently identify automation opportunities and propose solutions.
  • Familiarity with digital commerce or eCommerce data such as sales, advertising, inventory, and traffic metrics.
  • Experience with Amazon Ads API data, DSP reporting, or marketplace analytics platforms is preferred.
  • Background in data science, including statistical analysis, regression, forecasting, or segmentation, is preferred.
  • Experience building internal tools, dashboards, or chatbot interfaces is preferred.
  • Prompt engineering experience with structured outputs, JSON mode, tool use, and system prompts is preferred.
  • Experience with MCP servers, API integrations, or connecting AI tools to external data sources is preferred.
  • Must have significant overlap with EST business hours.
  • Must be available via Slack, WhatsApp, and email during working hours.
  • This is a full-time role with no secondary employment during the engagement.
