Description

  • Partner with attorneys and cross-functional stakeholders to translate legal, compliance, and regulatory requirements into business processes.
  • Lead and coordinate legal team initiatives across Product, Marketing, Operations, Engineering, and other functions.
  • Optimize and maintain internal processes and workflows to improve efficiency, visibility, and collaboration.
  • Develop, update, and maintain internal guidelines, process documentation, and internal resources.
  • Review customer-facing features, partnerships, lifecycle communications, and other launches to identify legal and regulatory risks.
  • Assist in developing operational controls and monitoring processes for customer experiences and evolving requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to use AI and automated tooling to streamline legal workflows and reduce manual work.
  • Partner with internal teams to develop solutions that support business goals while managing legal and regulatory risk.
  • Assist with legal research and special projects related to financial products, consumer protection, privacy, marketing, and emerging legal initiatives.
  • Support contract administration and other legal operations initiatives as needed.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in legal operations, project management, compliance, business operations, or a similar cross-functional role.
  • Experience managing projects across multiple stakeholders while balancing competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to interpret complex legal, regulatory, or operational concepts and communicate them clearly to legal and business teams.
  • Strong systems thinking with a focus on improving processes, eliminating inefficiencies, and creating scalable solutions.
  • Interest in new technology, including AI, automation, and internal tools.
  • Experience working in fintech, financial services, or another highly regulated industry (preferred).
  • Familiarity with consumer protection, advertising, privacy, or financial services regulations (preferred).
  • Experience with tools like Figma, Airtable, Notion, or similar tools (preferred).
