Description

  • Enhance the existing 3D satellite tracking application with new product features.
  • Integrate the Astro UX design system and resolve rendering issues in the interface.
  • Implement satellite ground traces, sensor look-angle visualizations, and geographic boundary detection.
  • Develop a toggle between a 3D globe view and a 2D flat map projection.
  • Refine the user interface to display AI-generated predictive data from backend sources.
  • Refactor core visualization logic into a reusable standalone web component.
  • Support delivery of the completed features through deployment to a staging environment.

Requirements

  • Deep proficiency with Three.js.
  • Strong experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with UI/UX design systems such as Astro UXDS.
  • Advanced experience building authenticated RESTful APIs.
  • Experience with database development using PostgreSQL, SQLite, and MongoDB.
  • Experience building standalone Web Components with LitElement or Stencil.
  • Experience using module bundlers such as Vite.
  • Experience with or knowledge of AI and machine learning concepts.
  • Knowledge of map projections and geofencing.
  • Must be a US citizen based in the United States.
  • Portfolio demonstrating complex, intelligent, and secure web applications.
  • Freelance contractor availability for a remote project role.
