Description

  • Work with customers to deploy and support robotic fleets in warehouse environments.
  • Provide onsite training to customer teams on robot operation and support procedures.
  • Travel on short notice up to 80% of the time within the designated region to perform site inspections and repairs.
  • Commission, test, debug, and remotely troubleshoot robotic systems with engineering support.
  • Perform routine maintenance, incident response, troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repairs for the robot fleet.
  • Maintain records of service calls, training activities, and expenses.
  • Study technical manuals and participate in engineer-led training sessions.
  • Support root cause analysis for major field incidents.
  • Track and report key service metrics such as mean time to repair and first contact resolution rate.

Requirements

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for working with customers and engineering teams.
  • Ability to respond with empathy and professionalism in stressful situations.
  • Strong safety orientation and attention to detail in maintenance, training, and debugging work.
  • Comfort using electrical and mechanical tools such as multimeters, soldering tools, crimping tools, torque wrenches, and hand tools.
  • Comfort with software tools including firmware flashing, command line interfaces, Linux-based operating systems, and basic Bash commands.
  • Self-starter with a growth mindset and the ability to work independently without supervision.
  • Ability to be on your feet for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • 4+ years of troubleshooting and debugging experience in robotics, industrial automation, or similar mechatronics industries, especially mobile robotics (preferred).
  • Experience with basic system administration and network configuration (preferred).
  • Experience with relational databases and SQL (preferred).
  • Experience reading mechanical drawings, system block diagrams, circuit schematics, and engineering manuals (preferred).
  • Experience with Google Workspace, especially Google Sheets (preferred).
